| Parking information: | If you are driving from the north, access into the town is from the A38/Grovesend Road junction. If you are driving from the south, access into the town is from the A38/Greenhill junction (via Greenhill, Down Road, Alveston Hill). Free parking will be available in the school tennis courts, accessed from Park Road at https://w3w.co/amaze.change.thinking. Due to set-up from the end of the school day, parking will only be available from 5.30pm. There should be sufficient parking capacity. If not, please find a space on adjacent public roads with due consideration to local residents. |

| Description: | Part of BOK's Urban Series, with 10 events held most Wednesday evenings from late April to early July. Short, Medium and Long courses available. Best 6 results on each course score for series prizes, with separate male and female competitions. there will also be a junior course. Under-16s may only compete on the Junior course. |

| Course description: | Map: • 1:5,000 scale with 2.5m contours. • Drawn by Paul Gebbett (BOK) 2026. Updated to ISSprOM 2019 specification. • Waterproof size A3 with courses overprinted. • Loose control descriptions will also be available. Newcomers are advised to familiarise themselves with uncrossable features and out of bounds symbols (if in doubt, please ask at assembly). Terrain & Courses: Courses will feature a mix of the typical urban orienteering environment with tarmac and paved footpaths, alleyways, parkland and grass playing fields. Road or trail shoes with good grips are suitable. Full leg and arm cover should not be required but please wear clothing suitable for whatever weather conditions are prevailing on the day! |
